All 5 species of salmon exist in the Southeast Alaskan waters. King Salmon, Alaska's official state fish, is the largest, frequently exceeding 50 pounds. Pacific Halibut are in the waters here and sport fish weighing hundreds of pounds are brought in every year! We have 2 kinds of trout: Cutthroat which can easily reach 7 pounds and Rainbow. Rainbow, some of which are seagoing in which case they are known as Steelhead, can reach 20 pounds. Don't forget the Dolly Varden, Pacific Herring, and 3 varieties of Crab (King, Dungeness and Tanner). Rounding out the mix are the abalone, octopus, prawns, cockles, scallops, sea cucumbers, and mussels. |

Our Packages are designed for the self guided fishermen. Package price includes the use of a 16ft 40hp skiff, equipped with 4 captains chairs. Additional boats are available to rent. Or, if you prefer, we can assist you in arranging a local Guided Fishing Charter. Either way you will enjoy the Best Fishing in Alaska. |
